I recently stayed at Wicked Hostels in Calgary for a week-long trip. The location was perfect, with a tram stop nearby for easy transportation. The room was spacious and had great kitchen facilities. The staff were helpful, providing tourist tips and keeping the common areas clean. Jeff, the host, was friendly and gave excellent recommendations for places to eat and visit. The hostel's downtown location made it convenient to explore the city and the movie room was a bonus!
I do recommend this hotel.

The staff was amazing, very friendly and welcoming. They offered free international calls and free laundry wash, which was a great bonus. The location was also ideal, with easy access to downtown and plenty of nearby attractions. Another advantage I enjoyed was the comfortable bedding, making for a cozy and restful stay.
The cleanliness of the room could have been better, as there were some dust on the shelves and hair on the floor. there was limited space inside the room, and guests would often leave their large backpacks and luggage in the middle of the floor, which could be a bit inconvenient.

The kitchen was well-stocked with spices and cooking items, making it easy to prepare meals. the staff was helpful and friendly, providing us with directions and even looking up information for us. The vibe of the hostel was great, with a welcoming atmosphere and plenty of freebies like long-distance calling and laundry services. One of the best aspects was the breakfast, which included delicious pancakes that were a real treat. The bathrooms were clean and spacious, and our room was conveniently located near the bathroom without any noise disturbances. The common room was also a nice place to relax after a long day.
The kitchen could have been tidied up more frequently, as it seemed to be the fault of other guests that it was messy. there were a few drawbacks, such as climbing stairs with suitcases and the absence of a reading light beside the bed.

I recently stayed at Wicked Hostels for a couple of days during my trip. The room was spacious with great views and the kitchen facilities were sufficient. The breakfast spread was lovely, although I had to make my own waffle batter, which was not a big issue. The beds were comfy and warm, although the pillows could use an update. The showers were decent and the location was convenient, close to a paid parking lot.
I recommend this hotel.

The staff at this hostel were super friendly and made everyone feel welcomed. They even made pancakes in the morning which was a great way to start the day. There were plenty of showers available and they were kept clean. The water pressure and temperature were good. Another great aspect was the fast wifi, which is always a plus when traveling. The location was convenient as it was right next to a metro station, making it easy to get around the city. Plus, there was a delicious pizza place across the street for a quick bite.
One of the downsides of this hostel was the lack of windows that could be opened in the dorm rooms and common areas, making it a bit stuffy at times. the rooms were on the smaller side, so there wasn't much room to open luggage.

The staff is friendly and helpful, providing guidance on trips to the mountains and offering clean showers and towels. Enjoyed the included breakfast, it was a great way to start the day. The location was convenient, close to the city center and easy to get around.- Appreciated the spacious and well-equipped kitchen facilities.
The noise from the nearby festival made it difficult to sleep at night. The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable, could definitely use an upgrade.
